Anyone know of any spooky or Haunted places in Barney? I know a bit about this stuff cos I studied parapsychology at college. If you know of anywhere let me know please

Ohh Barney is full of them, if you want poltergeist activity try, The White Swan. If you want common folk tales try The Bowes Museum.

Blagraves house is supposed to be rife with the undead (some might say that is just the patrons

Blagraves House!!
As a relative of some one who once owned the place,I can tell you a tale or two about the place!
After a busy night working the kitchen and resturant my relative retired to the bedroom,where
once settled in bed with her husband decided too put her arm over him,and then felt a cold grasp around her wrist that then turn her back to her original position!!!
Thinking she must be dreaming repeated putting her arm over her husband which then again
turn her back! but this time the latch lifted on the door,it opened and closed again then heard the footsteps,go down the stairs!
She then woke her husband and said "I cant stay in this house any longer!" and went to her mothers house.
After a couple of months past by they bought the property below which was once a former
pub "The Shoulder Of Mutton" which many troups bases at barney in the sixties aptly named
THE BUCKET OF BLOOD! After all the fights that started there!LOL :o
