Cockerel Crowing Confrontation Right then here we go, I was strolling to work today 5:30 in the morning enjoying the sunshine and the peace and quiet when what did I hear? another cockerel crowing its **** head off! I say another as the noise was coming from a different direction than the one that I usually hear so there must be a few in the town now. That got me thinking, we are a very rural town the countryside is only a cows plop away after all but the town is also quite compact and obviously residential. These noisy pluckers seem to be dotted all round the town so most of us get a listen. Question: is the keeping of noisy poultry in a residential area acceptable behaviour or should this type of thing be kept out in the farms/countryside where they are expected? So are we country or are we town? cockerels, spoil them or broil them? Poultry preen them or pluck them? Over to you..... ;D
